Nelson and Colne College is seeking a Security Officer to join our Security Team, helping to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors across our College Group.

No prior college experience is required; we can teach our systems, processes and procedures. We value attitude, willingness to learn, professionalism and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in security is an advantage.
• Customer service, hospitality, or public-facing roles welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and monitor CCTV.
• Manage access to the campus.
• Support fire evacuation and investigations.
• Help deliver College events.
