Job summary

Nelson & Colne College is seeking a Security Officer to join the Security Team. You will help provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors across the college group, using your initiative to respond to incidents and maintain safety.

Experience in security is an advantage, but candidates from customer service or public-facing roles are welcome. Training will be provided on our systems and procedures by the college.

Responsibilities

• Responding to incidents and monitoring CCTV.
• Managing access to the campus.
• Supporting fire evacuations and investigations as required.
• Helping deliver college events and supporting security operations.
