Warehousing Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Security Officer to start next week in Birmingham. The role offers permanent work with day, night, and weekend shifts. A £3,000 joining bonus is paid in December. You can choose to work days or nights plus weekends.

Day shifts run 8 am–6 pm or 8 am–8 pm (£19.50/hr). Night shifts are 8 pm–8 am (£22.50/hr). Weekends and overtime pay £25.50/hr. Weekly pay every Friday. Guaranteed 45–60 hours per week with flexible shift options.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice threats or suspicious behaviour.
• Clear and effective communication for reporting and interactions.
• Strong problem-solving to assess situations and decide actions.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts.
• Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance systems.
• Ability to patrol and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters, and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and other security systems for threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling access by checking IDs and logging entries/exits.
• Responding to alarms, investigating incidents, and taking action.
• Enforcing security policies and resolving disturbances.
• Reporting incidents and maintaining logs and documentation.
