Securitas are recruiting for a Relief Security Officer in Cramlington, NE England. The role involves protecting people and property, patrolling the site, monitoring alarms, and providing excellent customer service.

You will join a diverse team, with comprehensive training, progression opportunities, and a range of benefits from day one. The position requires the ability to work shift patterns including days, nights and weekends, and a valid SIA licence is preferred though training may be

Qualificações

• Valid SIA licence preferred; training available for right candidate (UK).
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Physically fit to patrol the site.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history check.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct external and internal patrols and manage parking restrictions.
• Carry out routine security tests and manage keys and access passes.
• Maintain logs and assist staff, visitors and contractors with guidance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions. Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Deal with lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors
