Job summary

B&M Retail Limited in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to safeguard people, products and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience. The role is full-time, permanent, with shifts across daytime, evening and weekends to fit business needs and personal flexibility.

You’ll work closely with the Store Management Team to prevent loss, manage risk and uphold safety and professionalism, while engaging customers and colleagues to resolve

Responsibilities

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents.
• Operating and reviewing CCTV systems in line with company policies.

• Conducting investigations into stock loss, theft and fraud.
• Engaging with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively.

Are you a confident and professional Retail Security Officer? Do you enjoy safeguarding people, products, and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience?

Join our team in the Weston Super Mare area and make a real difference!

In this role, you’ll be trusted with responsibility and play a vital role in safeguarding the store. Working closely with the Store Management Team, you’ll help prevent loss, manage risk and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work across daytime, evening and weekend shifts - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being an integral part of the store team.

What you’ll be doing

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
• Operating and reviewing CCTV systems in line with company policies
• Supporting the enforcement of Health & Safety procedures
• Conducting investigations into stock loss, theft and fraud
• Engaging with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively
