Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a security professional to patrol client premises, monitor CCTV and respond to alerts. You will maintain logs and records, ensuring a professional presence on site and strict adherence to health and safety policies.

The role requires SIA licensing, the right to work in the UK, and the ability to interact with staff at all levels. A flexible, rotating shift pattern is offered and the company provides development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Record vehicles, visitors and contractors; maintain accurate records and site daily occurrence log.
• Monitor site via CCTV; respond to alerts and alarms.
• Conduct regular site patrols and inspections as per instructions.
• Maintain a professional security presence on site.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policy and management plans.

• Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record
• Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems responding to alerts and alarms as required
• Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client’s premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions
• To show a professional security presence throughout the site
• To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company’s Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

• Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• You will be required to undergo screening and vetting (BS7858)
• SIA licensed essential
• Computer literate
• Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
• High standards of personal presentation
