Job summary

Security Officer position at Securitas UK on a prestigious site in the UK. You will deliver professional security services, protect people and assets, and uphold core values of integrity, vigilance and helpfulness.

You'll work 42 hours per week on a 4 on/4 off rotating days and nights pattern, with a strong emphasis on customer service and reporting. Training and career development opportunities are provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence is required and maintained.
• Experience as a Security Officer or in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service mindset with a professional approach.
• Ability to stay calm and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Experience completing security reports and logs.
• Knowledge of health & safety and security procedures.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Full right to work in the UK and a 5-year history check.
• UK National status and eligibility for Security Clearance (SC).

Responsibilities

You'll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Work at a prestigious, high-security site within a professional environment.
• Monitor and protect people, property, and assets.
• Conduct patrols and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Manage access control, visitors, and contractors.
• Operate CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.
• Complete reports and maintain accurate security records.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer or within a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional approach.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.
• Experience completing reports, incident logs, and security documentation.
• Good understanding of health & safety and security procedures.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Full right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment and address history.
• Must be a UK National and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years due to site requirements.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC).
