Job summary

Watford FC Training Ground seeks a Site Security Officer to provide 24/7 coverage on a Fri–Sun pattern. Must hold a valid SIA licence (Minimum Security Guarding) and have at least 2 years of security experience. CCTV/sports arena exposure is advantageous and weather readiness is essential.

You'll work with a small team, ensuring a secure environment and clear communication with customers, colleagues and stakeholders. Training and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence (Minimum Security Guarding).
• Minimum 2 years security experience.
• Comfortable working in all weather.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with CCTV or sports arena work advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work as the Site Security Officer.
• Create a secure environment for customers, employees and visitors.
• Promote confidence through effective decision-making and professional security standards.
• Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and customer policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and events, escalating as appropriate.
• Complete planned rota and shifts for security cover.
• Utilise site security systems to detect risks and breaches.
• Use TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to Join a Small prestigious team providing 24/7 Security coverage at Watford FC Training Ground located within London Colney. You will be working 3 days a week fixed pattern ( Friday - Sunday inclusive ) You must hold an in date SIA license ( Minimum Security Guarding ) and a minimum of 2 years Security experience. You will need to be comfortable with working in all types of weather as well as having excellent communication skills. Previous experience of CCTV / Sports Arena work will be advantageous. As well as an interest in Football.

What will you be doing?

• Working as the Site Security Officer
• Create a secure environment, in which our customers, their employees, and visitors are able to feel safe
• Promote confidence with every customer, colleague, and stakeholder through effective decision-making, communication, and professional security standards
• Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and customer policy
• Respond in an effective manner to incidents, alarms, and events, escalating to the Emergency Services, the Customer, and the Security Operations Centre, as appropriate
• Complete planned rota and shifts to provide security cover
• Utilise the relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
• Utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting of incidents.
• Promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks, and accident/ near miss reporting.
• Prevent unauthorised access to site, whether by a person, vehicle, or object.
• Respond to unplanned events or incidences promptly
• Work in collaboration with the customer’s FM team and complete relevant tasks
• Engage with training & development as required
