Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is recruiting for a Full Time Security Officer to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in Preston. The role offers a consistent Monday to Friday daytime shift pattern, with 42.5 hours per week and a pay of £13.45 per hour.

The successful candidate will maintain a safe environment for staff and visitors, patrol the site, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service. A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous security experience and a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and approachable attitude; able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
