OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect a busy client site in the UK. You will ensure safety, handle access control, and respond to incidents with a professional and approachable manner.

The role requires the right to work in the UK, a valid SIA licence, and prior security experience. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site.
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service.
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents.
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects.
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site.
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence
