Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a dedicated Security Officer at Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Barnet, London. You will be the main point of contact for customers and retailers, ensuring safety and a welcoming environment.

We offer £14.59 per hour for 45 hours per week. The role requires clear communication, reliability, and the ability to work on your own initiative, with a license in door supervision or security guarding desirable.

Responsibilities

• As the first point of contact for all customers and clients, you must be geographically aware of your local surroundings.
• Spot and stop all suspicious sightings or potential criminal activity and retain full control until the arrival of emergency services.
• Report to the Security Shift Manager or Duty Controller - you must record, report and upscale all sightings and arrests on a regular basis.
• The Security Officer should be able to work on own initiative.
• Flexible approach to work to suit the business needs.

We are currently looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about looking after and anticipating the needs of our customers. Working within the essential Security team, you will be the main point of contact for all of our customers and retailers within the Centre.

Offering a pay rate of £14.59 per hour, working 45 hours per week.

The Security Officer will demonstrate their character as determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable at all times when welcoming clients and customers.

• -As the first point of contact for to all customers and clients, the Security Officers must have geographically aware of their local surroundings.
