Mitie is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for Sainsbury's in Oxford to deliver exceptional customer service while providing a highly visible security presence within the store. The role entails engaging with customers, preventing anti-social behaviour and supporting community policing partnerships.

Job Overview

Mitie is looking for an Elite security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst providing a highly visible presence that reduces the impact of anti-social behaviour upon colleagues and customers.

Main Duties

• To deliver industry leading customer service
• To create a safe environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customer and colleagues
• To manage anti-social behaviour and build relationships with those that cause this
• Engage with members of the public by providing a welcoming presence
• Support the public and visitors with their queries in a friendly and polite manner by demonstrating excellent customer service
• Support the Police and crime partnerships where required to aid with the reduction of crime in store
• To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
