Job summary

Impact Services is seeking an experienced Security Officer for our Liverpool site. The role involves patrolling premises, controlling access, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. A valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) and an Enhanced DBS are essential, with a CCTV SIA Licence preferred.

Excellent communication and a professional demeanor are required. The position offers on-site work with 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (day shifts), and benefits

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment and maintain a positive, professional approach toward guests, visitors and colleagues.
• Greet and welcome guests and control access.
• Carry out regular checks to prevent theft.
• Carry out lobby presence and patrol within the property.
• Deal with undesirable behaviour.
• Manage access control and locker facilities for colleagues.
• Control CCTV, IDS and Entry Control systems.
• Prepare reports and liaise with other security personnel and outside agencies.

Pay Rate: £13.01 per hour

Hours: 45 hours per week Monday to Friday - Days

The purpose of a security guard's role is to prevent theft or any other illegal activity while providing security for premises and people.

Job Overview

A Security Guard is a vital role, being the first point of contact for visitors and responsible for protecting property or people by patrolling sites and acting as access control.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Deal with undesirable behaviour

Requirements

• A valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding SIA Licence (Essential)
• A valid CCTV SIA Licence (Preferred)
• Enhanced DBS (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to follow instructions
• A professional manner and personal integrity
• Flexibility to work with the business needs
• A 5-year checkable work or education history
• Basic first aid skills would be advantageous.
• Physical strength and fitness.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous.
