Job summary

GUK Security is seeking motivated individuals to protect the public through patrols and access control. You will issue access passes, greet visitors, and maintain incident logs, contributing to reliable frontline operations.

The role emphasizes professionalism, communication, and a proactive attitude. Ideal candidates hold a valid SIA licence, have retail sector experience, and are able to compose emails and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work.
• SIA licence is required.
• SIA CCTV preferred.
• Experience in composing emails and preparing incident reports.
• Proactive use of initiative to recognise priorities.
• Problem solving abilities.
• First Aid at Work certification is a plus.
• Two years experience in the retail sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety to the public through patrols and access control.

Hours: Monday Tuesday 10am to 10pm Saturday 7am to 7pm Sunday 8am to 6pm

Job role

Working with us at GUK, we value you more than just a security guard. You will be responsible for providing safety to the public with Patrols, creating access passes and using your experience of who can gain access. Your flexibility and experience will create a rapport with our high-end clients to deliver excellence.

The role is critical to ensure our operational day-to-day frontline services work like clockwork. A typical day for someone who is self-motivated could include access control, greeting visitors, regular patrols, and completing the daily occurrence book.

You are an individual who communicates well, have a strong sense for reliability and understand the importance of being smartly always presented in uniform. Also, you would need to be proactive and always willing to learn.

You will receive full training and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the continued success of GUK.

Ideal Experience:

• Proof of right to work
• Valid SIA licence

• 2 Years experience at working in the retail sector
