Job summary

Hotelsecuritymanagement is seeking security personnel at The Berkeley, London, to manage inquiries, monitor CCTV, verify visitors, and uphold the hotel’s Visitors policy in accordance with the 5-star standard. The role requires SIA credentials and hotel security experience.

Shifts follow a 4 On / 4 Off pattern (days and nights) at Wilton Place, Knightsbridge, SW1X 7RL, with a focus on safeguarding guests and staff while maintaining the highest service quality.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications – SIA / 5 * Hotel Experience / Met Police or British Army

Responsibilities

• Inquiries and visitors arriving at the staff entrance are appropriately handled and those visitors adhere to the Visitors policy.
• CCTV system is actively monitored, checked to be working effectively, and maintained and fully compliant with the Data Protection Act regarding CCTV.
• Items removed from the Hotel are checked, pass-outs are processed correctly, with any discrepancies referred and/or items withheld as deemed appropriate.
• A proactive presence is maintained by all Officers throughout the Hotel, particularly in public areas.
• Contribute to maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.

Job Description

This includes maintaining accurate logs, records, and notebooks.The Police and other Government Agencies are assisted with inquiries and whilst on Hotel premises.The CCTV system is actively monitored, checked to be working effectively, and maintained and fully compliant with the Data Protection Act regarding CCTV.Any items being removed from the Hotel are checked, pass-outs are processed correctly, with any discrepancies referred and/or any items withheld as deemed appropriate.A proactive presence is maintained by all Officers throughout the Hotel, particularly in public areas.Contribute to maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
