Job summary

Securitas UK in Glasgow is seeking a Security Officer to help keep people, property and information safe. You’ll patrol, respond to incidents and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values.

The role requires flexibility to work days, nights and weekends, a valid SIA licence, good English communication, and the right to work in the UK. From day one you’ll access learning and development and opportunities to advance within the security field.

• A valid SIA licence.
• Physically fit for patrolling of site.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity and maintain safety.
• Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches following company policies and procedures.
• Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork related to incidents.
• Effective Communication: Report incidents and coordinate responses with colleagues and external authorities.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to employees, visitors and guests.

• Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy
