Job summary

Angard Staffing seeks experienced Temporary Security Officers to join the Royal Mail site operations. You will patrol, control access, conduct searches, maintain site security and keep detailed security logs in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Ideal candidates have prior security or gatehouse experience, excellent communication, staying calm under pressure, and a strong attention to detail. Pay is competitive with overtime and peak-rate enhancements where applicable.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling site, maintaining site security, controlling access, conducting searches, and ensuring all security procedures are followed at all times.

• Monitor and regulate the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Carry out personal searches in accordance with site procedures using randomisers and search wands.
• Conduct security patrols and routine site inspections.
• Identify and report security concerns, incidents, or potential risks.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and security reports.
• Respond professionally and effectively to emergencies and incidents.
• Liaise with site management and operational teams regarding security matters.
• Ensure all security policies and procedures are followed consistently.
• Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment?
• Holds a valid
• Has previous experience within security, gatehouse, or site-based roles.

• Pattern A: Monday to Thursday - 05:00 - 15:00 (Total 40 hours)
• Pattern B: Friday to Sunday - 05:00 - 15:00 (Total 30 hours)

Late Shift Pattern

• Pattern A: Monday to Thursday - 13:00 - 23:00 (Total 40 hours)
• Pattern B: Friday to Sunday - 13:00 - 23:00 (Total 30 hours)

Night Shift Pattern

• Pattern A: Monday to Thursday - 21:00 - 07:00 (Total 40 hours)
• Pattern B: Friday to Sunday - 21:00 - 07:00 (Total 30 hours)
