Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a reliable Security Officer to join our Derby client site. You will protect people and property, maintain a visible security presence, and handle incidents on a rotating day/night shift pattern.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service and professional conduct in a prestigious manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA Frontline Guarding Licence, a full UK driving licence, and proven security experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and visible security presence.
• Monitor the site and respond to security incidents.
• Operate CCTV, radio and security systems.
• Respond to emergencies including fire alarms and evacuations.
• Support visitors, contractors and colleagues on site.
• Complete incident reports and security documentation.
• Monitor and maintain site records and logbooks.
• Liaise with emergency services and statutory authorities when required.
• Report security concerns and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures and assignment instructions.
• Build positive relationships with the client and site teams.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
