Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Security Officer in Bracknell to help keep people, property and information safe. The role involves greeting staff and visitors, patrolling the site, monitoring CCTV and alarms, and responding to incidents with a focus on customer service and safety.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA licence, have the right to work in the UK, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

• Maintain accurate incident records and shift handovers.

Job description

You'll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Protect people, property, and assets from loss, damage, and unauthorised access.
• Monitor access points, alarms, CCTV, and security systems.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns.
• Support emergency procedures, including evacuations and searches.
• Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and shift handovers.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, regulations, and Assignment Instructions.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Uphold the core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness at all times.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who sees a different world - someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you'll have:

• A valid SIA Licence or willingness to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A 5-year checkable employment history, including any periods of employment, self-employment, education, or unemployment.
• No unspent criminal convictions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A professional, reliable, and punctual approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to the values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
