Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to oversee busy sites around the Telford TF2 area. This full-time role involves leading a security team, managing client relationships, and ensuring health and safety compliance on a 365-day operation.

You will report to the Business Security Manager, work 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri), and require an SIA licence, a valid driving licence, and strong leadership and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• SIA license is required.
• Full driving license required.
• Experience in supervision or management.
• Customer service experience desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Effectively lead the security team to deliver the service to the agreed specification and meet all qualitative and performance KPI targets.
• Deal with enquiries from security team and client, professionally by phone, email or in person.
• Support with managing client relationships and expectations; maintain formal and informal communications.
• Be health & safety aware; adhere to all policies and ensure team compliance.
• Manage rota, approve holidays, organise cover to meet site requirements; escalate issues promptly.
• Provide reports and shift audits as required by client and Staffline Security Management.
• Train new starters and temporary staff; ensure ongoing training via Toolbox Talks.
• Manage team performance and behaviours; assist with rota submissions and site documentation.

Job description

We are looking for experienced Security Site Managers to be based around the Telford area TF2. You will be responsible for running busy sites that operate 365 days a year.

The rate of pay is £33,000 - £35,000 per annum.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, #removed# (some flexibility will be required).

Your Time at Work

• Effectively lead the security team to deliver the service to the agreed specification and meet all qualitative and performance KPI targets.
• Deal with all enquiries from both the security team and client in a professional and courteous manner, these maybe in person, on the telephone or via e-mail
• Support with the Management of client relationships and expectations. Maintain formal and informal communications with client.
• You must be health & safety aware and adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as ensuring the team always comply with these policies and procedures.
• Manage the rota, approve holidays, organise cover ensuring all shifts are manned to the site requirement escalating any issues to the Business Security Manager and control room in a timely manner
• Provide reports and shift audits as required by the Client and Staffline Security Management team
• Training of new starters and temporary staff ensuring ongoing training continues through regular Toolbox Talks
• Manage team the security performance and behaviours.
• Support with submitting rotas and worked ours to the Business Security Manager
• Maintaining and updating the site Assignment Instructions and documentation

Health & Safety accountabilities:

• Communicate regularly with the site security team and the client through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas, and concerns are addressed
• Ensure that the Staffline image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
• Ensure that a proactive approach is taken, i.e. attended the site Health and Safety meeting and other safety events.
• Take responsibility for ensuring that office and equipment is fit for purpose.
• Ensure that work activities are properly managed and supervised.
