Join Our Team as a Security Manager

We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity to join the Brinks UK BGS business as a Security Manager. In this leadership role, you will oversee and manage the security of our UK operations, ensuring the ongoing protection of our customers, colleagues, property, and assets.

This role is key to driving effective security and risk mitigation strategies, focusing on implementing practical measures that enhance safety and support operational continuity across the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position will be based near Heathrow, with travel to other UK sites and occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement security procedures and programs that reduce risk, limit liability, and enhance safety.
2. Proactively assess and manage security risks, recommending and deploying measures to eliminate or minimize exposure.
3. Ensure security compliance across all facilities, fleet, and equipment procurement or installation processes.
4. Lead security audits and inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
5. Maintain operations within insurance limits, obtaining additional coverage when necessary.
6. Manage third-party contractors and subcontractors related to security services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar security role, ideally with international exposure.
• Experience managing teams and working independently.
• Strong knowledge of physical, procedural, and personnel security standards.
• Understanding of local and international regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office.
• Experience conducting investigations.
