Job summary

Haven is seeking a Security Manager to lead our security team at a busy holiday park. You’ll drive safe operations, manage budgets and resources, and ensure compliant practices across all activities.

You’ll coach your team, monitor performance, and deliver outstanding guest experiences while balancing safety with service excellence in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires hands-on leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to creating a welcoming, secure environment for guests,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Security Management role, preferably in a holiday park, resort, or customer service environment.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisors (DS) License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and security protocols.

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
• Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a welcoming atmosphere.
• Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Resource Management: Oversee team scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards, including maintaining and reviewing policies.
• Problem Solving: Quickly resolve operational issues to ensure smooth day-to-day running.
• Training and Development: Support team development through ongoing training and mentoring.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Security Management role, preferably in a holiday park, resort, or customer service environment.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisors (DS) License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingattention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of security protocols, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Experience in budgeting andfinancial management.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
