Job summary

Envitia is recruiting a Business Analyst to translate mission needs into actionable outcomes within classified government environments. You will work with customer, delivery and technical stakeholders to shape secure digital products, manage backlogs, and ensure user needs align with operational context.

This hands-on role requires confidence engaging with customers, guiding delivery teams and continually improving ways of working within a security-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK Security & Intelligence or other secure government environments.
• Proven ability to elicit, analyse and manage complex requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong background in Agile delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and manage business, user, data and technical requirements, ensuring they are clearly documented and aligned to mission outcomes.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps.
• Develop and maintain product backlogs, supporting prioritisation based on value and delivery constraints.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Agile teams to support sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, workshops and forums for shared understanding and decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement in Agile ways of working and governance.
