Job summary

Complete Security Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join the Warrington-based team. You will install, service and commission high-end security systems across the UK, with regular travel to prestigious commercial and high-security sites, reading drawings and documentation.

You’ll prepare clear service reports and commissioning paperwork, advise on system improvements, and support junior engineers while maintaining excellent customer relationships on site.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and commissioning access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems.
• Ability to fault-find across integrated security platforms.
• Knowledge of current British Standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing and commissioning high-end integrated security systems.
• Delivering small works projects to a high standard.
• Responding to service calls and planned maintenance visits.

Job description

The Role

Based from their Warrington office, you'll be joining an experienced engineering team delivering installation, commissioning, servicing and small works across some of the UK's most prestigious commercial and high-security sites.

You'll mainly be working with:

• Enterprise Access Control Systems
• IP CCTV Solutions
• Intruder Alarm Systems
• Integrated Security Solutions

The work is varied, technically interesting and will involve regular travel throughout the UK, with occasional stays away when projects require it.

You'll be trusted to manage your own workload while working closely with the projects and service teams using modern technology including Microsoft Teams and industry-leading job management software.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, servicing and commissioning high-end integrated security systems.

• Responding to service calls and planned maintenance visits.
• Working with Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Reading drawings and technical documentation.

What I'm Looking For

I'm keen to speak with engineers who have experience in most of the following:

• Access Control Installation & Commissioning
• CCTV Installation & Commissioning (IP preferred)
• Intruder Alarm Installation & Commissioning
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of current British Standards
• Excellent customer-facing skills
• Good IT skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
