Overview
First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Security Installation Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- The post requires that you report to the Head Office in good time to be briefed and depart on task at 0730 daily or 1930 at night. Daily activity briefs are generally delivered at 0715hrs.
- You will be a member of a small (2-man) team completing installations of systems within a high-security environment, often within the aviation transport and education sectors.
- The normal hours are 07:30 to 16:30; however, the position requires flexibility to work night shifts Sunday – Friday on occasion.
- Communicating effectively with client enquiries and delivering a high standard of customer service in a clear and professional manner.
- Reporting to the Project Manager daily to update on job completion and progress, and submitting written reports.
- Conducting installations as per current company and security protocol procedures, as directed by the team supervisor.
- Completing project installation paperwork and individual timesheets in a timely manner (daily).
- Maintaining tools, uniform, PPE, and equipment issued, ensuring they are in a clean and serviceable state, including company vehicles.
- Adhering to company and site health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Reporting dangerous occurrences or incidents both internally and externally.
- Undertaking supplier and specialist training as directed for career development.
- Performing additional duties at the request of management for the benefit of the company.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A clean and proven employment record for security reasons and clearance.
- A full driving licence is required.
- Must hold a valid CSCS card.
- Knowledge and experience with intruder systems.
- Knowledge and experience with access systems.
- Knowledge and experience with CCTV systems and data installations.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- IPAF, Pasma, and confined space certification.
