Job summary

Evri Group in Warrington is seeking a Night Hub Security Officer to join our security team, working 12-hour night shifts (18:00–06:00) on a 4-on 4-off rota. You will help deter theft, monitor access, and protect parcels across the Warrington Hub.

You will collaborate with the Loss Prevention team, conduct security checks at the gatehouse, and ensure accurate recording of all activity in line with Evri procedures. A proactive, vigilant approach and commitment to health and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Deterring, detecting and investigating loss within Hub locations.
• Collaboration with Loss Prevention to reduce parcel damage and loss.
• Manage site access controls for visitors and contractors.
• Conduct security checks on outbound gatehouse.
• Record all activity accurately on company documents per procedures.
• Comply with Health and Safety guidelines in all security operations.

As a Security Officer you will be accountable for deterring, detecting and investigating loss within designated Hub locations. They will work closely with the Loss Prevention Team to support the reduction of losses including client freight, through internal theft.

You will be accountable for:

• Working with Hub Team to manage site access controls including visitors and contractors
• Support on different processes to safeguard parcel performance such as high value goods
• Patrolling and feeding back on potential risks
• Security checks on outbound gatehouse
• Work to the assignment instructions ensuring that all activity is accurately recorded on the correct documents, in line with company's procedures
• Comply with and report on all Health and Safety issues in accordance with company guidelines.
• Working with the Hub Loss Prevention team to reduce damage and mismanagement or treatments of parcels
• Instilling a culture of handling parcels with care
