Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting a security professional in Knowsley on a 4 on 4 off rota. You will perform security patrols, fire patrols/checks, and control room duties as required to meet client and company SLAs.

You will book vehicles, handle mail/courier tasks, and ensure all safety procedures are followed with clear documentation. We seek reliable team players with strong communication, numeracy, and organisational skills, who can work unsupervised when needed and respond promptly to any

• Experience in security patrols and adherence to procedures.
• Knowledge of fire safety procedures and checks.
• Ability to report issues promptly and document tasks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with security assignment instructions and SLAs.
• Carry out security patrols and routine Fire patrols/checks.
• Ensure Fire procedures are implemented and monitored.
• Book/weigh vehicles on/off site and record outgoing items.
• Assist in compliance with customer policies and procedures.
• Report misuses, damage or threats to customers or property.
• Report breaches or unsafe practices to Line Manager.
• Carry out control room duties as required.
• Provide fire checks, patrols and isolation of fire panels when required.
• Mail/courier sort/collection/delivery service assistance.
• Adhere to H&S policies and complete relevant documentation.

About The Role

Working Pattern

4 on 4 off rota with pro rata cover days required to make the 48 hour per week average#

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance with security assignment instructions and SLA’s agreed in the contract to meet the requirements of the client and company
• Carry out security services patrols
• Carry out routine Fire patrols/checks
• To ensure that all Fire procedures are implemented and monitored at all times.
• Booking /weighing vehicles on & off site
• Recording of printed products leaving site
• Assist in compliance of all customer policies and procedures are adhered too
• To report immediately any misuse, damage or threat to the customers or OCS property & equipment
• Report any breach or unsafe practices in the workplace to Line Manager in accordance with the Company Health and Safety policy and procedures and with support from the Health and Safety Manager.
• To carry out control room duties as required
• Provide for fire checks, patrols and isolation fire panel when required
• Provide along with other security personnel mail/courier sort/collection/delivery service
• Adherence to company and site H & S policies
• Accurately and legibly complete all relevant documentation associated with all relevant tasks. All other reasonable requests to meet the needs of the business.
