Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security is seeking a Small Works Security Engineer to work with the service Operations Manager and branch network to complete 4–8 hour work orders and generate extra revenue for the business.

You will bring deep knowledge of Intruder Alarms, Access Systems and CCTV, with IPAF 3a/3b as a plus. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, on a local patch with a company van available for use.

Qualifications

• Experience with intruder alarms, access systems and CCTV.
• Ability to lift and climb ladders; IPAF 3a/3b is a plus.
• Consistent delivery of excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Partner with recommendation team and engineers to drive opportunities.
• Work with the commercial seller and KAMs for leads not suitable for install.
• Take ownership of quotes for all small works via the recommendation team, commercials, KAMs or other outlets.
• Manage each order through quotation, stock orders and sign-off of works.
• Follow up on recommendations and quotes, ensuring customer understands impact of upgrades.
• Identify upsell opportunities (e.g., panel upgrades) when upgrading signalling.
