Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies offers a 2027 Security Engineer internship in London (with Paris). You will join the Security team to protect systems, data and infrastructure across our global research and trading platforms, collaborating with Cloud, Infrastructure and Network Operations to implement controls in a high-performance environment.

As an intern, you will tackle real security challenges, build tooling, and learn automation at scale.

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final-year student pursuing a STEM degree.
• Interest in technology and building projects or open-source contributions.
• On track for a 2:1 or above.
• Willingness to learn and investigate unfamiliar problems.

Responsibilities

• Triage agent development to support cyber-security investigations.
• Develop detection capabilities by reproducing attack techniques in labs.
• Contribute to security assurance through vulnerability research and remediation testing.
• Build tools to automate security tasks and improve scalability.
