XTX Markets, a leading algorithmic trading firm, is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join its hands-on security team in a hybrid UK role. You will collaborate with software engineers to identify security flaws and build defensive solutions, while supporting compliance across the firm's large-scale operations.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1–3 years' experience in Information Security.
• Proficiency in at least one statically typed language; Golang primary; Python scripting.
• Knowledge of how systems are built and how to break them.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to write clearly and succinctly.
• Rapid learner with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work autonomously and prioritise as required.
• Willing to admit mistakes and seek feedback to improve performance.
• Personal projects you can show or talk about.
• Experience playing CTFs.
• Security certifications demonstrating practical ability (e.g., OSCP).

Responsibilities
