Job summary

XTX Markets in London is seeking a hands-on Information Security Engineer to join the Security team. You will work with software engineers to identify security flaws, design technical solutions, and help maintain a defensive mindset across our systems.

The role covers requirements gathering, prototyping, and building internal tools and infrastructure, with exposure to compliance tasks and broad security projects across the firm.

Qualifications

• Approx. one to three years’ experience in Information Security.
• Proficiency in at least one statically typed language (Go preferred; Python for scripting).
• Knowledge of how systems are built and how to break them.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clear and concise writing.
• Rapid learner with high attention to detail.
• Able to work autonomously and prioritise.
• Willing to admit mistakes and seek feedback.

Responsibilities
