Job summary

easyJet—a FTSE-listed, UK-based low-cost airline—seeks a Security Engineer to join our Technical Security team at the Luton HQ. This hands-on role focuses on implementing and operating security controls across critical systems, with hybrid working in place.

You'll collaborate with Technology, Security Operations and Incident Response to strengthen cyber defenses and contribute to the security roadmap while staying ahead of evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Experience in security engineering or IT operations.
• Understanding of security technologies and controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative approach across technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain operational security systems.
• Support the reliability and effectiveness of security tools and controls.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and security control improvement activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational guidance.
• Support security investigations with Security Operations and Incident Response.
• Provide security-focused consultancy to Technology teams.
• Contribute to the security engineering roadmap.
• Keep up to date with emerging cyber security threats and best practices.
