Job summary

easyJet, a leading European airline, is seeking a Security Engineer to implement and operate technical security controls across critical systems. You will support security tooling, contribute to cyber security improvements, and work closely with Technology and Incident Response teams to protect information and services used across the business.

The role is full‑time with hybrid working from our UK offices. A strong background in security engineering and IT operations, plus hands‑on experience

Qualifications

• Experience within a security engineering, technical security or IT operations environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work methodically and follow defined technical processes and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative approach across technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Implementing, configuring and maintaining operational security systems and technical security services.
• Supporting the reliability and effectiveness of security tools and controls.
• Assisting with vulnerability remediation and security control improvement activities.
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks and operational guidance.
• Supporting security investigations and remediation activities alongside Security Operations and Incident Response teams.
• Providing security‑focused technical support to Technology teams across the business.
• Contributing to the security engineering roadmap.
