Job summary

Certinia is seeking a Security Engineer to join our hands-on security team. You will bridge triage and security architecture, perform investigations, incident handling, and implement security controls across cloud environments.

This role operates independently on routine security tasks while collaborating with senior engineers on threat scenarios and cloud design. You will maintain SOC capabilities, contribute to automation, and report to the Head of Information Security.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in Information Security, SOC, or related field.
• Solid networking, OS, and web app security knowledge (OWASP Top 10).
• Experience securing resources in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive investigations and root-cause analysis of alerts.
• Execute incident response phases including containment, eradication, and post-incident review.
• Analyze phishing trends and triage reported emails.
• Monitor SIEM and triage events daily.
• Develop cloud security controls and automation scripts.
