Job summary

Tria represents a well-known insurance company undergoing a business-wide transformation from on-premise toward a cloud-based model. The Security Engineer will perform hands-on engineering work with some strategic responsibilities and report to the CISO, across two transformation programmes.

Milton Keynes will require 2 days onsite per week, with a 6-month contract on offer. We seek candidates with hands-on security engineering experience and strong Microsoft E5 security tech knowledge.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft E5 Security technologies (Sentinel, Entra ID, Defender, etc).
• Good understanding of IAM & PAM.
• Ability to work across multiple data/ERP platforms (Salesforce, Snowflake, MuleSoft).
• Background in Financial Services or a regulated industry.

Security Engineer

Up to £550/day (Outside IR35)

Milton Keynes - 2x per week onsite

We are representing a well-known insurance company currently undergoing a business-wide transformation programme. As the organisation moves from on-premise to a cloud-based environment, the need for an improved security posture is mission critical.

As the Security Engineer, you'll be focused primarily on hands‑on engineering work, with some strategic responsibilities, and reporting directly into the CISO. You will be working across 2 key transformation programmes, so adaptability, proactivity, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams is vital.

We are looking for:

• Proven experience in a hands‑on Security engineering position
• Extensive experience across the Microsoft E5 Security technologies - Sentinel, Entra ID, Defender, etc
• A good understanding of IAM & PAM
• The ability to work across multiple data/ERP platforms - prior knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake, MuleSoft, etc is beneficial
• A background within Financial Services or a regulated industry

It would be a bonus if you had:

• Experience integrating security tooling into SaaS environments
• Experience with SIEM integrations
