Job summary

Vbeyond is seeking an experienced Security Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable security data platforms and pipelines. The role enables security analytics, ML and Security Knowledge Graph use cases by providing governed data across enterprise environments.

The candidate will build batch and streaming pipelines, develop ETL/ELT processes, APIs and integrations with ServiceNow, Dynatrace and security tooling, and maintain Security Knowledge Graph data pipelines for analytics and ML needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or security data platforms.
• Strong hands-on data engineering experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience designing scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for security telemetry.
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT, APIs, and modern data platforms.
• Experience with event streaming, cloud data engineering and data governance.
• Understanding of Security Knowledge Graph concepts and graph databases.
• Experience integrating platforms like ServiceNow or Dynatrace and related observability tools.
• Knowledge of data quality, lineage, access controls and data security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for security telemetry.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes, data models, APIs and integration services.
• Integrate ServiceNow, Dynatrace and security tooling into enterprise data ecosystems.
• Build and maintain Security Knowledge Graph data pipelines and graph models.
• Prepare trusted datasets and features for analytics and ML use cases.
• Implement data quality, lineage, governance and observability.
• Optimize data architectures for performance, resilience, and cost.
• Collaborate with security analysts, data scientists, and platform teams.
