Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Security Cyber Risk & Compliance Specialist for an on-site role in Farnborough.

The successful candidate will support security initiatives, implement policies, monitor incidents, and collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in information security.
• Experience in risk management, compliance, and security technologies.
• A continuous learner who stays up to date with industry knowledge and technology.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of security initiatives under the direction of senior security personnel.
• Assist in implementing security policies and standards, collaborating with the security team.
• Monitor security events and incidents, escalating and documenting as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.
• Aid in compliance efforts, assisting in audits and ensuring documentation is up to date.
• Contribute to incident response activities, participating in investigations and reporting.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends.
• Support the delivery of security awareness training to employees.

Security Cyber Risk & Compliance Specialist

Location: Farnborough (onsite 5 days per week)

Due to the nature of the work and the customers we support, the successful candidate must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, including the applicable residency requirements for the role, and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Some roles may also be subject to nationality requirements where these are necessary to meet UK Government or contractual security obligations.
