DXC Technology is seeking a Security Cyber Risk & Compliance Specialist to join our onsite team in Farnborough. You will support security initiatives, help implement policies, monitor events, and assist in audits while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance security and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires aBachelor's degree (or equivalent) with experience in information security and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant industry experience in a similar security role.
  • Proven information security experience across risk, compliance and security technologies.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support management of security initiatives under senior security personnel.
  • Assist in implementing security policies and standards with the security team.
  • Monitor security events and incidents and document escalations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.
  • Assist in audits and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Contribute to incident response activities, investigations and reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security best practices and trends.
  • Support delivery of security awareness training to employees.

Security Cyber Risk & Compliance Specialist
Location: Farnborough (onsite 5 days per week)
Due to the nature of the work and the customers we support, the successful candidate must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, including the applicable residency requirements for the role, and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Some roles may also be subject to nationality requirements where these are necessary to meet UK Government or contractual security obligations.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Support the management of security initiatives under the direction of senior security personnel.

  • Assist in implementing security policies and standards, collaborating with the security team.

  • Monitor security events and incidents, escalating and documenting as necessary.

  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.

  • Aid in compliance efforts, assisting in audits and ensuring documentation is up to date.

  • Contribute to incident response activities, participating in investigations and reporting.

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends.

  • Support the delivery of security awareness training to employees.

What you will bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Relevant experience in industry, with a background in a similar role.

  • Proven experience in information security.

  • Proficiencies in risk management, compliance, and security technologies

  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus!
