Job summary

Lockheed Martin UK Space is seeking a Security Controller to lead security for large-scale build programmes in the North East of England. You will liaise with programme stakeholders and the LM Security organisation to ensure compliance with 007, JSP 440 and related defence standards.

You will operate within a Facility Security Cleared environment, guiding risk management and security measures to protect sensitive information while meeting project timelines and FSC status milestones.

Qualifications

• Clear understanding of the operational needs of programme teams.
• Experience with Government Standard 007 and JSP 440 and other defence standards.
• Experience in a Facility Security Cleared environment and protecting sensitive information.
• Strong knowledge of National Protective Security Authority construction standards and Operational Requirements.
• Familiarity with Defence Supply Chain strategy and risk management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal security point of contact for large-scale build programmes and investments.
• Provide pragmatic security support and guidance to mitigate risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop documentation, processes and reporting for facilities in alignment with FSC requirements.
• Collaborate with the wider Security team to maintain security posture and FSC status within timelines.
