Job summary

Accenture plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Consultant - H&PS to tackle complex security challenges across health, public sector, Defence and Central Government projects, blending strategy with hands-on delivery.

Hybrid role in Newcastle with access to training and a global network of experts; you will work across Threat & Vulnerability Management, IAM, GRC and Secure by Design while growing technical and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud services or application security with DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of threat modelling, security controls and risk analysis.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, NCSC, MITRE, CyberEssentials, DCC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based recommendations.
• Ability to translate security concepts for delivery teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work across Security services including Threat & Vulnerability Management, IAM, GRC, Secure by Design.
• Help clients gain visibility and control of risks and deliver secure services.
• Maintain traceability linking obligations, threats, controls, and risks.
• Provide assurance evidence to support go-live and in-service risk decisions.
• Interpret laws, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements into practical security requirements.
• Support compliance and governance by ensuring security requirements are understood and evidenced.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed security controls from design to operation.
