Job summary

Accenture plc in the UK is seeking a Security Consultant to tackle complex security challenges across health, public sector, Defence and Central Government. Location is flexible within the UK with client travel; the role is a consultant level with competitive package.

You will work with cutting-edge technologies on innovative projects, building security capabilities in collaboration with a global team, and supporting delivery from design through operation.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in cloud, app security, networking, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Understanding of threat modelling, security controls, and risk analysis.
• Experience across cloud, hybrid, third-party and non-standard environments.
• Familiarity with recognised security frameworks.
• Ability to validate assumptions via evidence-based activities (security testing, reviews, investigations).

Responsibilities

• Reduce cyber risk by embedding security requirements and controls through the project lifecycle.
• Conduct threat modelling aligned with MITRE ATT&CK to identify threats and controls.
• Define monitoring and logging to detect failures or incidents in live environments.
• Support procurement by developing security requirements and contractual schedules.
• Maintain traceability linking obligations, threats, controls, testing outcomes and risks.
• Provide assurance evidence to support go-live and in-service risk decisions.
• Translate laws, policies, standards into practical security requirements for project teams.
• Support governance to ensure security is understood and evidenced throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to embed security controls from design to operation.
