Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Business Security Compliance Officer to safeguard people, property and information across its operations. You will provide guidance on security delivery, ensure compliance with company policies and National Security standards, and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence.
• DISA qualification required.
• British National due to site security.
• Eligible for and able to maintain DISA compliance.
• Must have the right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work and address history.
• Must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all aspects of site security service support in line with company and government guidance.
• Communicate security requirements clearly with all personnel.
• Plan and prioritise workload to meet operational and business requirements.
• Gather and report security-related data to support informed decision-making.
• Maintain knowledge of current company and government security guidance.
• Manage security records and databases accurately and confidentially.
• Support security investigations and related activities.
• Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle general site enquiries and complaints professionally, providing excellent customer service.
• Support awareness, education, and training activities related to security.
• Demonstrate integrity, vigilance, and professionalism whilst identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by the Deputy Security Manager or Site Security Manager.
