Job summary

Securitas UK in Luton is recruiting a Business Security Compliance Officer to support security and compliance across a regulated environment. You will help maintain security standards, advise stakeholders, and promote a culture of compliance on site.

The role suits a proactive security professional who can work independently, manage a varied workload, and demonstrate integrity, vigilance and helpfulness in line with Securitas Core Values. Training and development provided.

Qualifications

• Eligible to obtain BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements).
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all aspects of the Site Security service support to the business in line with company and government guidance.
• Communicate security requirements clearly with all personnel.
• Deal with general sit enquiries and complaints, in a professional, approachable and constructive way, providing excellent customer service.
• Cultivate and maintain knowledge of all security related company and government guidance.
• Gather and report security related data to support the understanding of information.
• Manage and maintain all security records and databases.
• Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the company.
