Job summary

Lantern Ltd is seeking a Senior Security & Compliance Engineer to own Lantern's security programme as we scale. You will cover cloud and application security, vulnerability management, IAM, incident response, secure software delivery, SOC 2, risk management, and customer security assurance.

You'll drive security findings into concrete actions with owners and deadlines, and manage SOC 2 readiness with audit coordination and policy maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional security experience, ideally in cloud-native SaaS or technology environments.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS, GCP, or Azure with engineering teams.
• Experience owning or leading SOC 2 Type II programmes including controls, evidence, and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day SOC 2 readiness, controls, evidence, auditor requests, findings and remediation.
• Maintain security posture across applications, cloud infrastructure, endpoints and third-party services; drive remediation or risk acceptance.
• Manage security tooling and monitoring with Vanta and integrations; ensure data is accurate and actionable.
