Job summary

Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security business delivers digital solutions to Central Government clients. The Business Consulting Manager role leads complex assignments, builds trusted client relationships, and helps develop the consulting practice.

You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, budgets and risks, and identify new opportunities while coaching colleagues. The role offers on-site client work and office presence with flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading consulting assignments or professional services engagements.
• Proven experience delivering complex transformation, change, technology or business improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex consulting assignments, projects and workstreams to deliver successful client outcomes.
• Designing and implementing practical solutions to complex business and technology challenges.
• Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and clear advice.
• Managing delivery against agreed scope, quality, timescales, budgets and commercial objectives, taking corrective action where required.
• Identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies throughout delivery.
• Supporting business growth through opportunity qualification, proposals and follow‑on work, while coaching colleagues and developing consulting propositions and methods.
