Job summary

Anchor Group Services in Carmarthen is seeking a Dual Service Operative to blend security and cleaning duties at St Catherine's Walk Shopping Centre. You will maintain CCTV operations, stay visibly present, and perform cleaning tasks while delivering first-class customer service. Training is available if you don't yet hold a CCTV licence.

The role is 2 on/6 off, 7:30–18:00, about 18.4 hours weekly with a pay rate of £12.90 per hour. Full uniform and Anchor Academy resources are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA CCTV licence is required; training available for suitable candidates.
• Experience in customer service with the ability to handle conflict appropriately.
• Clear communication skills, professional presentation and reliability.
• Flexibility to work weekends and variable shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and security operations from the control room.
• Respond to incidents and escalate to the appropriate team.
• Prepare detailed reports and logs of observations and events.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks and operate cleaning equipment.
• Provide a professional service to customers and visitors.
• Maintain a visible, safe presence on site and follow procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth site operations.
