Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is recruiting for a Governance, Risk and Compliance focused role in the UK to lead security assurance across Secure Networks. You will guide a team of consultants, maintain the assurance framework, and ensure risk assessments and compliance against MOD and other standards.

The role requires strong English communication, a proactive approach, and navigation of regulatory guidance. A hybrid working model is in place, with opportunities to influence security strategy across projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of working in cyber security in a UK MOD-related environment.
• Strong familiarity with UK MOD security standards and guidance.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide a team of consultants delivering cloud security assurance.
• Maintain and implement Secure Networks Security Assurance framework and protocols.
• Carry out security assessments for core Secure Networks cloud systems (e.g., Microsoft 365).
• Oversee security assurance alignment with Defence Cyber Certification processes.
• Coordinate security audits and ensure compliance across teams and projects.
