Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Security Assurance Manager in the UK to lead a team delivering security assurance across Secure Networks and cloud systems. You will maintain frameworks, perform risk assessments, and provide guidance to engineers and project teams to ensure compliant security postures.

You will work with UK governance structures, stay up-to-date with MOD guidance, and support external audits and certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security within a UK MOD-related environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide a team of consultants fulfilling cloud security assurance for UK&I.
• Maintain and implement Secure Networks Security Assurance framework and protocols.
• Maintain secure network approvals, risk assessments, security arguments, and compliance statements.
• Carry out security assessments for core Secure Networks cloud systems (e.g., Microsoft 365).
• Lead audits to support DEFENCE cyber certification and external assessments.
• Provide security assurance guidance to review design and operation of secure networks.
