Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Cyber Engineer to join its Cyber Security Team in a hybrid UK role. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain security technologies across the enterprise, collaborating with SOC analysts, infrastructure, and cloud teams to strengthen cyber defence.

Role requires SC clearance and experience across monitoring, vulnerability management, and endpoint security, with a focus on aligning security controls to business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise cyber security technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving across infrastructure, security, and network technologies.
• Experience developing automation or security tooling using PowerShell, Python or similar.
• Experience in regulated environments such as MOD/Defence or banking.
• Understanding of threat intelligence and its security applications.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (NIST/ISO/CIS/NCSC).

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and enhance cyber security technologies across the enterprise.
• Design and implement security controls aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Support security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• Collaborate with Network, Cloud, and Data Centre teams to embed security practices.
• Lead platform upgrades, change management, and vendor coordination.
• Provide guidance to operational cyber teams and stakeholders.
