Job summary

Center Parcs UK & Ireland Whinfell Forest is seeking a Security Assistant / Driver to help keep guests safe and comfortable across the village. The role includes assisting guests with mobility, deliveries, and supporting security operations, with occasional duties as a Security Officer under SIA regulations.

This part-time position requires a 12:00–18:00 shift pattern, a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours over a 4-week period, and the usual evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, ability to handle pressure.
• IT literacy and basic tech use.
• Valid driving licence held ≥6 months.
• SIA Door Supervisor badge or willingness to train.
• First Aid at Work certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with mobility needs, luggage and deliveries across the village.

We are seeking a Security Assistant / Driver to join our team, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests across our village.

• Assist guests with mobility needs, luggage and deliveries across the village
• Provide prompt, professional support and maintain a safe, welcoming environment

Your working hours

• Part-time contract, shifts fall between 12:00pm and 6:00pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About You

• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• IT knowledge; friendly and approachable
• Full Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 6 months)
• SIA Door Supervisor badge and First Aid at Work certificate, or willingness to undertake training
